Raffi Arto Came to Ventura, CA in March of 2013 and performed at Yolie's Fresh Mex Grill for hihatentertainment.com. Raffi played the first set and we all loved it, when it came time for the second set Mark Tortorici brought out R and B legend Big Jay Mcneely. Raffi stayed on stage for the second set and then was backing Big Jay. It is my understanding that this was the first time the two performers had ever played together, they don't speak the same language, and this video captures a rather amazing moment when Jay pushes Raffi to the limit, and Raffi is able to keep up showing just what a pro he is. At this time I was recording the sound using three Zoom 2 track recorders that I had to sync up later using Audacity then replacing the camera sound with the Zoom mix down recording. The video was shot with a Cannon XA10, the still photos with a Nikon D60. I hope you enjoy it.
