Полная версияPink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon (Full Album Music Video)
Dark Side Of The Moon is Pink Floyd's iconic rock album from 1973. Over the years it has come to be hailed by many as the best rock album ever. (See tracklist below) (And Turn Up Your Volume To Hear Lyrics And Voice Overs)It is considered to be a concept album in that the songs are weaved together into a central theme or story. In the case of Dark Side the apparent theme, as stated by Roger Waters at the beginning of this video, is an expression of political, philosophical, humanitarian empathy, and he should know since he wrote all of the lyrics for the album.I bought the vinyl album in 1974 and was captivated by the central theme running through it. I had never seen this approach before, although some considered the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper as a concept album. The songs in Dark Side flow together without interruption or pause between them in an attempt to maintain continuity of theme. This is only evident though when you listen to the actual vinyl album. I've seen angry reviews of the iTunes Dark Side downloads by people who think the songs are being ended prematurely, while not knowing the structure of the original album. In this modern day digital environment where it seems pictures can speak louder then words, video attached to music can help convey a message or theme of a song and its lyrics. With Dark Side this can be done with the whole album(story) to create a cohesive essay. This is what I have attempted to do in this(my) interpretation of the album.A portion of the video clips I found were actually produced by Pink Floyd as big screen concert backdrops for their 1974 and 75 or later concert tours. There were leftover gaps however that needed to be filled with video to compliment every song with its own piece of video. I found various videos on the net that I felt reflected the messages in the album and spent a good amount of time editing everything together to generate final clips for this music video.P.S. I feel, unfortunately and sadly, that many if not all of the themes from the original album are quite relevant in today's world, and that is another reason I created this video.
