The Fugitive Complete Tv Series S02E02 - Near Kansas City, Richard Kimble reads a want ad cryptically informing him about the murder of his wife Helen, with a message to phone Eleanor Burnett, the daughter of John Burnett, his defense attorney who is no longer alive. Ellie and her mother Ada had hired a private detective to help find the one-armed man and he believes he now has, but when Kimble arrives to a rendezvous with Ellie she informs him that the one-armed man they discovered had died in a fire. Kimble is devastated but checks the story himself and believes it to be true. However the private detective does some more checking and finds the one-armed man who died was incarcerated the night of Helen Kimble#039;s murder, meaning Kimble can still find his wife#039;s killer. Ellie, however, wants Kimble for herself and withholds this information - and faces arrest as Lt. Gerard, a family friend of the Burnetts, has learned from a reluctant Ada of Ellie#039;s rendezvous with Kimble and her plan to fly him out of the country.Dr. Richard Kimble, an Indiana pediatrician, is accused, arrested, tried and convicted of the murder of his wife. Kimble claims he was on his way home from a drive when the murder occurred, and saw a one-armed man running from his house upon his return. Kimble manages to escape from the detective assigned to the case, Lt. Philip Gerard, and spends the next four seasons on the run--helping people with their problems and searching for the one-armed man, while running before the relentless pursuit of the police detective obsessed with his capture--Gerard.The Fugitive is an American drama series created by Roy Huggins and produced by QM Productions and United Artists Television that aired on ABC from 1963 to 1967. David Janssen stars as Richard Kimble, a physician who is falsely convicted of his wife#039;s murder and sentenced to receive the death penalty. En route to death row, Kimble#039;s train derails over a switch, allowing him to escape and begin a cross-country search for the real killer, a quot;one-armed manquot; (played by Bill Raisch). At the same time, Dr. Kimble is hounded by the authorities, most notably dogged by Police Lieutenant Philip Gerard (Barry Morse).The Fugitive aired for four seasons, and a total of 120 51-minute episodes were produced.
