Eduard Streltsov, The Russian Pelé | Goals, Skills & Assists
Best goals, skills and assists of the legendary Russian striker Eduard Streltsov. At the age of 21 he was imprisoned for 5 years, and he had missed further 2 years due to the official suspension. But even after that he managed not only to come back to professional football, but also to win Soviet Footballer of the Year twice and get a Ballon d'Or nomination in 1967, finishing 13rd (10 years after his last one — in 1957 he was voted 7th best player in Europe, aged just 20).The story of his imprisonment is full of holes and uncertainties and many believe that he was falsely accused — until this day his process remains one of the most controversial in Russian legal history.More about him: https://bit.ly/2I2ejDASpecial thanks to the Aleks Chistogan youtube channel: https://bit.ly/2UNi2pZ21.07.1937 Streltsov is born1954 Makes his Torpedo Moscow debut at only 16 y.o.
