The material is mostly strong, there's lots of keyboards and sound effects on Side Two but good harmonies too. Side One is quite Beatlesque. The prime cut You Never Win opens with a backwards guitar intro; The Sweetest Part is first class synthesized rock and I Don't Understand and I Need It Higher add the band's own dimension to The Beatles' early seventies sound.
