From the rock group's third album Green River, Commotion (Remastered) is performed by Creedence Clearwater Revival on August 2, 1969 for American Bandstand. CCR's next performance was at the Woodstock Festival. The Commotion single (after Bad Moon Rising, Lodi, and title track Green River) reached #30 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The song was written and produced by John Fogerty and recorded at Wally Heider's Studios in San Francisco, CA in June 1969. Commotion was later released on Creedence Clearwater Revival Chronicle: Their Greatest Hits.CCR is John Fogerty – lead vocals/lead guitar, Tom Fogerty – rhythm guitar, Stu Cook – bass guitar, and Doug Clifford – drums.
