Полная версияRecorded live at Fyansford Paper Mill Fyansford, Geelong, Australia, 1988.Alex Stone - Vocals & LyricsJohn Castellain - Guitar & MusicVirginia Castellain - BassRoss Morton - DrumsI reworked the audio in this quite extensively and due to the dynamics of the track it came up well, in stereo too!I also went with a slight blue tinge and sparkles which added a nice ambience I thought. These recordings were from old VHS tape video made using a camera and recording machine, which in 1988 were the size of two suitcases and just as heavy. Due to the white balance not being set the original recordings were faded and lacked contrast and colour, both of which were digitally restored or altered (as in this case). The lighting in the room was a single 150w incandescent bulb overhead. The room was a basement in the mill and flooded if the adjacent river was full so the amplifiers were on milk crates to avoid 'floating away'. There used to be a water wheel on the other side of one wall that was driven by the Barwon river down a channel still full of running water, hence the flooding, which happened twice in 1988 while the band used the room for rehearsal, and still does sometimes today. The Fyansford Paper Mill is now an artists hub, but the loud bands have largely gone due to the area becoming built up. There is still music performed at an eatery and in one larger room which has been fitted out for performance however.
