Ambiental & Therapeutic MusicGheorghe Iovu graduated the Timisoara Popular School of Art– guitar and singing class. He is the promoter of Therapeutic Music in Romania since 1976, being the only one to compose songs belonging to such a genre.His music has been used and tested as therapy with outstanding results in several clinics, health centers, both national and international, to promote healing, enhance mental functioningand creating an overall sense of well-being. In 1998 he opens in Timisoara the first music therapy center in Romania, followed by a second one in 2005, where he provides free sessions of music therapy to all those who want or need it, regardless of their economical status.Iovu is a path opener, not only because of his music but also because of the way he shares it. For Gheorghe Iovu music means life; breathing and living to the beat of the Universal rhythm. His therapeutic music represents the easier way to find ourselves.
