On 23 October, Kane scored his first professional hat-trick for Tottenham in a 5–1 win over Asteras Tripoli in the group stage of the Europa League. Kane set up Christian Eriksen's late equaliser against Sheffield United on 28 January, a goal which put Tottenham into the League Cup Final.On 2 February 2015, he signed a new five-and-a-half-year contract with the club. Five days later, he scored both of Tottenham's goals as they came from behind to defeat Arsenal in the North London derby, his 21st and 22nd goals of the season across all competitions. His performances led to him being named as Premier League Player of the Month for January.
