Полная версияThe Beatles - Munich, Germany - "Yesterday" - June 24, 1966
Disclaimer: I do not own The Beatles or their music. No copyright infringement is intended. The boys performing "Yesterday" in Munich, Germany. Although Paul's original version is a pretty one, this is a version I would have liked to have had them record, instead..as they are all playing on this one and it sounds more like a Beatle record than a solo Paul composition.Now..so much talk has been made over John's disdain for this song, etc..but I look at this video and it looks like the boy was encouraging his best mate to sing it himself..or something to that effect. Looks like he was saying "..sing by yourself." Could it be that Paul was encouraging John to sing it with him? You see there's an "exchange" that goes on between them just prior to Paul singing it, and I only wish I knew for sure what was said..but, regardless, all I see here as Paul is performing it is *pride* on John's face..and that is what I'll take with me when I think about how John feels about this song. I think anything he may have said about it then or in the future came from a place of *pain* due to his insecurity..and that's it. The haters who want to read anything more into it are doing just that, hating without *understanding*. John never meant any harm..but if everyone was associating you with a song you never wrote, never mind giving it much attention and accolades, your ego would take a "hit", too, given you're the leader of the most popular group in the world and the other half of a very successful songwriting team. Think about it.Love you, John..and Paul, too, for generously attempting to share his song with John from what I can see. ♥♥♥
