World Of Today - Supermax 1978
Supermax is a project of the Austrian musician and producer Kurt Hauenstein, best known for "Love Machine", a 1979 German number four single that peaked at #6 in Switzerland, #9 in Austria and #96 in U.S. The members of the band were Hauenstein, Hans Ochs (g), Ken Taylor (bg), Lothar Krell (Keyboard), Peter Koch (dr) and the singers Cee Cee Cobb and Jean Graham. In 1981 Supermax toured as the first mixed-race band through South-Africa and Venda. 21 concerts were played by the band. Despite warnings and death threats, Supermax finished the tour, but this made some countries refuse permits for entry and consequently the group was black-listed by some political organizations.Mama's in the kitchenMaking funky breadPapa's in the living roomThe newspaper already readBaby's lying in his bedpanDone pissed down on his legsAnd I'm still wonderingIf this world is already dead**Tell me what'sGonna happen to the world todayTell me what'sGonna happen to the world todayTell me what'sGonna happen today**Brother's down in the pool-roomShooting a game of poolSister's on the street cornerTrying to be so coolThe dog is out in the frontyardPlaying with the ballI'm not try to hurt youI'm only trying to school you all**Tell me what'sGonna happen to the world todayTell me what'sGonna happen to the world todayTell me what'sGonna happen today**The world is full of pollutionAnd there is one thing I don't agreeCan't you see its just a patch of liesBuild around philosophyLittle children taking pillsOr smoke a joint or twoThis world becomes a messCause mister police's doing it too**Tell me what'sGonna happen to the world todayTell me what'sGonna happen to the world todayTell me what'sGonna happen today**گروه اروپایی سوپر ماکسスーパーマクス
