There are many prospects for 2023 musically and among them is the anticipated next Jazzmasters blockbuster coming from music producer Paul Hardcastle. Hardcastle music fans began their journey with Jazzmasters I in the early 90s and, to present time, there has been seven volumes recorded. Youtube is no stranger to Hardcastle’s music and there are thousands of videos that will solidify that but I wanted to focus on Jazzmasters VII in preparation for the tasty sounds that we know Paul will add to the 8th Volume. Jazzmasters VII was released June 10, 2014 with Unlimited Love and Rhythm of Life (both with remixes due to the accompaniment of Trumpeter Cindy Bradley, Saxophonist Paul Hardcastle Jr, and vocals by singer Maxine Hardcastle); as well as Pulse of the Universe; Starlight Express; and Echoes of Eternity (to name a few). But the additional attraction to Jazzmasters VII is the beautiful smooth track “Soft Rain”. This song has the added flavor of sensual sax sounds from Rock Hendricks. You might remember the original version of this song is on the Chill Lounge Volume 2 line-up.
