Title: Penny Lane - stereo remix.Recording began Dec 29,1966 with Paul perfecting the piano rhythm track in six takes and filling all four tracks of the tape.The following day,Dec 30,a reduction mix of the four-track Take 6 was made and called Take 7.Paul added a lead vocal,backed by John.Work continued on Jan 4,1967 with the overdubbing of another piano part by John and a guitar track by George.On Jan 5 Paul added another vocal.On Jan 6 Paul added bass guitar,John a rhythm guitar and Ringo drums.On Jan 9 four flutes,two trumpets,two piccolos and a flugelhorn were overdubbed.On Jan 10 the hand-bell was added.On Jan 12 the second set of classical instrument overdubs were added:two trumpets,two oboes,two cor anglais and a double-bass.On Jan 17 the recording was completed with the distinctive piccolo trumpet solo.NOTE: I DO NOT own the copyright to this song.
