After having spent some time around London’s music scene in 1971, Takeda took his experience home to start a band that incorporated these sounds into something that was at the same time uniquely Japanese. From 1975-1977 Creation released three albums (one of which was recorded in the USA with American producer Felix Pappalardi, whom Takeda had met in London). 1977’s Pure Electric Soul was the band’s final effort. An album of riff-heavy and funky blues rock, mostly penned by Takeda, with the exception of the blues standard ‘Frankie And Johnny’ and the Yardbirds’ 'Happenings 10 Years Time Ago’.
