Track 8, "Kiss Me Red", from ELO Part II's self-named album.---Some great orchestral backgrounds in this song, the type of sound Lynn let slip away by the eighties and thus almost completely lacking in his later albums. This is probably my second favorite track from the album.---In 1988 Bev Bevan, the lifelong drummer of the band ELO, asked Jeff Lynn asking to make another ELO album. Jeff Lynn said no, so in 1989 Bev Bevan recreated ELO without Jeff Lynn under the name ELO Part II. In 1991 the group released a self-named album, Electric Light Orchestra Part II, that attempted to get back to the early/mid 70s ELO sound with mixed success.
