The flowers you see are from my yard or hometown. I am lucky to live in a place with such beauty and happy to share it. I hope you enjoy it.Music~Armik: New flamenco guitarist Armik displayed an interest in and passion for music while still a young child. When he was just seven years old, he pawned his watch for a classical guitar, which he hid and practiced on in the basement. Formal music lessons followed and Armik completed the Rudolph Solphege program in two years; at 12, he was a professional recording artist. While his early career focused mostly on jazz, Armik discovered the beauty and passion of flamenco while visiting and studying in Spain during the '70s. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue this new direction, playing with other artists live and in the studio.By 1994 he released his solo debut album, Rain Dancer, a critical and commercial success that he followed with 1995's Gypsy Flame. At this point, Armik's reputation as a performer and student of flamenco was such that expert Spanish luthier Pedro Maldonado created an instrument for him, the Rubia; Armik's 1996 album was recorded with and named after it. The following year saw the release of Malaga, and his fifth album, Isla del Sol, appeared in 1999, followed by Rosas del Amor in the spring of 2001. Released in 2002, Lost in Paradise showed him making a sensual and elegant album that offered a different take on his traditional flamenco. His releases have consistently reached Top Ten positions on Billboard's charts of top-selling new age music, and during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, two tracks from Armik's recordings were played during the floor exercises to accompany gymnast Daniela Sofronie of Romania. That year, Armik released his first album on his own Bolero imprint, Romantic Dreams. Releases such as Mar de Sueos and the compilation Desires: The Romantic Collection followed. ~ Heather Phares, RoviArtist~Fabian Perez:Fabian Perez was born on November 2,1967 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As a teenager Fabian was fascinated with martial arts and fine arts. Therefore, he dedicated himself to study both disciplines. Karate helped influence his character giving him great discipline as well as opening him up to other forms of art, Much of what Fabian learned through his Eastern studies influenced his paintings.Fabian left Argentina when he was 22 to live in Italy where he resided for seven years. It is here where his career in painting and writing took an ascendental journey. It is also in Italy where he was inspired to write his book "Reflections of a Dream", which was published later in the United States. He then went to Japan where he lived for one year. While there he painted The Japanese Flag and A Meditating Man which are on display in a government house. Fabian left Japan to come to Los Angeles where he devotes his life to inspire other with his paintings and writings.Fabian's style is unique. He wishes not to categorize his work, he feels this limits the artist as well as the work. He likes to paint with acrylic because it dries quickly and this allows him to follow his impulses. The bold and symbolic imagery feels intensely passionate. Fabian paints with his emotions and each painting reflects his drive and energy. The paintings become a roadmap, a guide with many directions, where the viewers decide which path they wish to experience."It's been thirty years that my wheels travel on a sandy road. In my tracks, I've left things behind, and lost many others. As the wheels turn I can see a road ahead, that will take me to many new experiences." - Reflections of a Dream
