They started as an amateur band offering their sounds on the japanese indie community muzie, but they brushed up their style and performance when Kya joined later in the same year, to become a widely acknowledged indie band. Their activity grew more wide-ranging when TERRA and A. Koga joined the band in December 2004, although Koga left shortly after. In 2006, kya also left the band. The highly technical play style, as well as the elaborate melodies are the selling points of Mintjam. Movie The MermaidScenes from the film Mermaid by Alexander Petrov Moscow-based animator who is known for the delicate style of his oil paint on glass animation technique. This 10-minute film is a haunting tale of an old monk and his young novice who live by the sea. As the story unfolds, we learn that many years ago, the old man betrayed his bride and she committed suicide.
