After several years of prompting from MRC, the guys feel now is the right time to get this album dusted off and back out there in CD and Digital form.The band’s core members Chris Smith (Lead Vocals, Guitars) and Matthew Gerrard (Bass, Backing Vocals) agreed to work with MRC, with the audio fully remastered by Gerrard from original masters.Included in the release is 2 additional bonus tracks from the band’s 1985 Q107 Homegrown Contest winning MCA Records single and a third track recovered from those early sessions.But that isn’t all! Pressed further on the band’s post debut writing and recording history, a number of songs were presented that were being prepared for a second album, which ultimately never eventuated.So all of those songs have now been dusted off, given the remaster treatment and then sequenced by MRC for the ultimate long overdue second REGATTA album, which the guys have lovingly titled ‘No Looking Back’.Regatta BioRegatta is a Canadian rock band that rose to prominence in the 1980s, known for their signature blend of rock, pop, and new wave influences. The band made waves early in their career by winning the Q107 Homegrown Contest, a prestigious competition that spotlighted emerging Canadian talent.
