We recorded this track at Sound City with Brett Newman.Lisa Rae BlackAll Female Bands: Hardly Dangerous began in 1986 by seasoned guitar player Lisa Rae Black, of the Pandoras, (second version) and Feline, and Tomi Rae Hynie later Tomi Rae (Brown) who with her powerful Janis Joplin like vocals quickly made a name for them selves in the late 1980's hair metal Sunset Strip era in Los Angeles,California. Sheri Kaplan of The Pandoras, (first version) was brought in to replace drummer Athena Lee, sister of Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, and along with bassist Beth Ami, the line up was secured, gigging and playing every chance they got, Hardly Dangerous had a strong following for their straight ahead rock and roll with blues influences, and lasted until 1991 to what seemed like the phasing out of hard rock to grunge anyhow, Hardly Dangerous never actually broke up with all the members continuing in various bands, by 2008 a self titled Ep was released giving fans another glimpse of the band that like many seemed forgotten about once the grunge era took over the 1990's.Vocalist Tomi Rae has kept the band going even current day all though the original all female line up no longer plays together.Lisa Rae Black-Guitar,Beth-Ami Heavenstone-Bass,Tomi Rae Brown-Vocals,Sheri Kaplan-Drums
