Merkit tribe originated from an old legend, it described that, once the eagle brought a kid to a family which for a long time could not have any children. Surprised parents named a kid as Merkit in honour of the proud bird . Merkit name means Golden Eagle,which loves freedom and hovers proudly in the sky.
