Kazakh-Turkish High School

Kazakh-Turkish High Schools were opened in 1994 as a result of an international educational contract between Turkey and Kazakhstan. The male students who finished the 8th and 6th grades applied our school and they were given an entrance exam. After that the successful ones who passed the exam were invited to the school and started the preparation course, which is essentially the first year in all of Kazakh -Turkish high schools. During the preparation course the students study only languages. The languages they study are: English, Turkish, Kazakh, Russian. After finishing the prep class, in the second year of the school they study maths, physics, chemistry, biology, history and all other subjects, which have been included in the curriculum by the Ministry of Education. The science lessons are taught in English and the social lessons like history, geography, and literature are taught in Turkish and Kazakh languages. During the week, the students stay at the school dormitory and at the weekends they go home. Our school has been settled in a quiet place with a very nice garden, is a very suitable place for education. In our school we are trying to do our best in terms of educating and bringing up our students according to the necessities of our time. All our students can speak fluently four languages: English, Turkish, Russian and Kazakh. Our schools are equipped with modern computers and books. For instance, English books are prepared with help of Oxford University Press; high-qualified tutors and professors print all science books... As everybody knows, education process is one of the most difficult and expensive activity for the human being. Opening, new and modern schools, bringing well educated and trained teachers, using the most up to date methods and employing all the necessary technical devices and facilities, and at the end, bringing the students up in a way that they will be helpful and productive citizens to their country... Kazakhstan is a very large country with lots of kinds of rich nesses on the ground and under the ground. Its land which contains almost all minerals and elements in the periodic table of elements. So training the qualified personnel for Kazakhstan is the best solution.
