More than being scared by these accidents it's important to note their cause: Mukhina's accident was caused by a moved that is banned, Henrich died from anorexia which shows that starving yourself will never be the answer, and in the case of Sang Lan she admitted she got distracted which shows gymnastics has no tolerance for distractions, the world can fall apart but the only thing you must mind as a gymnast is your routine. Now anyone who wants to be an elite must know gymnastics history and these accidents are part of this history, but as I have said more than getting scared by them you must analyse the causes to prevent them from happening to you.
