This is my tribute to one of the most enchanting celebrities ever, whose heyday took place in the '30s, my most favorite decade when it comes to movies. Joan Blondell (1906 - 1979) was one of those actresses who always lighted up the screens, and not only because of her blonde hair and beautiful big-blue eyes, but also because of her marvelous talent for comedy and drama, as well as her vivacious attitude and huge charisma. It's a pity that she never reached the true stardom she deserved for many reasons. She was truly a hard-working girl and one of the biggest symbols of the Warner Brothers Studios during the Great Depression years.Thank you, dear Joan, for having shared with us your marvelous talent and that gorgeous smile of yours!
