As a child prodigy in Hungary he was already an accomplished musician by the time he was 8 years old. After studying violin in Moscow, Budapest, and at The Juilliard School in New York City, in 1996 Edvin earned the life-long honor to perform on a rare Stradivarius violin by winning a worldwide competition. The violin that Edvin plays was made in 1699 by Antonius Stradivarius.Edvin has reached millions of fans worldwide through previous releases and touring, and importantly a partnership with ice-skating champion, Evgeni Plushenko, who won the gold medal at the 2006 Torino Olympics while skating to two of Edvin's songs, his original composition "Tosca Fantasy" and his arrangement of "The Godfather." Currently, Edvin tours endlessly, and has brought his Stradivarius show with his signature music style to his fans in Asia, Europe, Australia, South America, and the United States.
